Marching & Concert Musicians Needed, Waltham, MA
Fresh from it's 3rd place finish in the American Legion National Band Competition, in Louisville, Kentucky, the Waltham American Legion Band is seeking new musicians. Openings exist in all sections. Membership in the American Legion is not required.
The Waltham American Legion Band is well known throughout Greater Boston and New England, founded by Dot Slamin Hill in 1948. The band has traveled to Great Britain, Ireland and the former Soviet Union as well as stateside trips to Hawaii, California, New Orleans, Reno, Salt Lake City and Louisville. The band pays travel expenses and uniforms are supplied. Need an instrument? We will help!
Of the 70 band members, our musical abilities range from college graduates with music degrees to those who played in military bands or at the high school or college level.

Hey! I'm Ready To Sing!
Hello anyone reading this! Before I start, I just want to thank whoever is reading this for taking the time out to look over this.
My name is Amber Harris and I love to sing my heart out! I am a 15 year old and I live in Harrisburg, PA! I can play the guitar, clarinet, I can play the piano a little. I first wanted to start singing when I was 7 years old, I sang on my church choir's, in school talent shows, and even just for fun during lunch time during school just to have the spotlight for singing (I got in trouble for that, but it was worth it because I got to sing). The singers and rappers who inspired me to wanna push my dreams foward with their music are Justin Bieber, Jennifer Hudson, Selena Gomez, Joss Stone, Usher, Kirk Franklin, Young Jeezy, Lil Boosie, Tye Tribbett, Michael Jackson, Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus, Fantasia, Taylor Swift, Beyonce, Jesse McCartney, and many more!
I've wanted the opportunity to sing for so long and if I do get it, I would be more greatful than I have ever been and I do mean that. Most people would think that I'm trying to be a suckup to whoever is reading this but I truly am not. I'm being 100% honest and I am pouring my heart out over this! This is an opportunity of a lifetime and I am really looking foward to a response!!
