Wesley is offering bass tracking services to anyone who is in need of a fitting bass line for a recording. Combing his audio engineering experience with his musical talent, he will create a clean, distortion-free bass track fitting for your song. All files will be transmitted over the internet, so it does not matter if you live in Memphis, Los Angeles, London, or Tokyo.

What are the sound/tonal options?
Wesley can record your bass line on:
-Electric bass (plucked, picked, or slapped, with active or passive electronics, round wound or flat wound strings, depending on whether you need a vintage or modern sound)
-Upright/String/Double bass (Arco or Pizzicato... Bowed or plucked)
-Electric Upright Bass
-Fretless Bass
-Acoustic Bass Guitar
-Additionally, you will be provided with multiple tracks for a recording if desired, such as a microphone and pickup for an upright bass recording, or a direct line and miked amp for an electric bass.
Who will come up with the bass line?
Wesley will accommodate your needs, whatever they might be. If you already have a bass line written, it will be recorded note for note. Just send the sheet music or an audio version (played on piano, keyboard, guitar, tuba, flute, or whatever else).
If you do not have a bass line in mind, Wesley will come up with something fitting for the song. Send a lead sheet if you have one, but it is not necessary.
How much does it cost?
$100 for the first song, $75 for each additional song in a project. This includes one “redo” per song. If you do not like the first track that is submitted to you, it will be re-tracked once at no additional charge.
A project in this case is based on how the number songs submitted in an inquiry.
What if the bass track is not up to par?
Simple enough. You do not pay for it. Here’s how it works. You submit an audio file of your song , and Wesley will record the bass line. He will send a stereo audio file of your song back to you with the bass track included. The bass track will be a little loud in the mix with the dual purposes of allowing you to hear what it sounds like before purchasing, but also protecting Wesley from non-payment, as the track will be un-useable in a final mix. Once the bass line is approved, you will submit your payment, and a high quality version of the bass track will be sent out. If you requested separate tracks for one bass line (direct and miked, for example), they can be sent separately, or mixed.

I learned super bass and surround sound in another month, and mix and mastering after that. My knowledge expanded because I wanted it and nobody would do it for me. You have to want it to do it. This was all self-taught, as well. Does anybody really read/look at the manual?

This Is Getting Quite Old...
Alright, I gotta be front about this--and this is not me trying to diss anyone or ranting on these posts, but I gotta say--this is getting ridiculous. I'm pretty fed-up about this and have had all that I can take. If you're still reading this because you have the maturity to listen to someone's side about a musical trial/tribulation, then you gonna feel this.
So, I've been on this site as well as a few others (but mainly this site), and I have met many people (beat-makers) that said they could help me, know what I'm lookin' for, have a nicely budgeted price, etc., etc. Now, I like to call that the "Bullshit/Butter-Me Up Stage" because every beat-maker I have EVER had boasts about his skills, but never follow through. I've had 16 different beat-makers either quit on me, or change his 'initial setting' to $200 a beat. Now, when they quit on me, they didn't even so much as say two fuckin' words to let me know, at least. I just never heard from them again. When they charge me to $200 a beat, they don't realize that I'm not rich and that I don't have that kinda budget. Who the fuck are those people trying to fool? How you gon put bait in front of my face and start trickin' with it? That's some mad bullshit. Let alone--check this out--this guy says I got some skill and he might wanna sign me to his record label, but that dumbfuck ACTUALLY EXPECTS ME TO PAY to be signed there. LMFAO!
Nigga, if you run a label and wanna sign me, YOU pay ME. If you need money for promotions and you the one running the label, YOU DEAL WITH IT, not me. That's how it works. And I ain't gonna pay no $1000 for a knock-off label that I never even heard of. This Is Getting Quite Old...
Alright, I gotta be front about this--and this is not me trying to diss anyone or ranting on these posts, but I gotta say--this is getting ridiculous. I'm pretty fed-up about this and have had all that I can take. If you're still reading this because you have the maturity to listen to someone's side about a musical trial/tribulation, then you gonna feel this.
So, I've been on this site as well as a few others (but mainly this site), and I have met many people (beat-makers) that said they could help me, know what I'm lookin' for, have a nicely budgeted price, etc., etc. Now, I like to call that the "Bullshit/Butter-Me Up Stage" because every beat-maker I have EVER had boasts about his skills, but never follow through. I've had 16 different beat-makers either quit on me, or change his 'initial setting' to $200 a beat. Now, when they quit on me, they didn't even so much as say two fuckin' words to let me know, at least. I just never heard from them again. When they charge me to $200 a beat, they don't realize that I'm not rich and that I don't have that kinda budget. Who the fuck are those people trying to fool? How you gon put bait in front of my face and start trickin' with it? That's some mad bullshit. Let alone--check this out--this guy says I got some skill and he might wanna sign me to his record label, but that dumbfuck ACTUALLY EXPECTS ME TO PAY to be signed there. LMFAO!
Nigga, if you run a label and wanna sign me, YOU pay ME. If you need money for promotions and you the one running the label, YOU DEAL WITH IT, not me. That's how it works. And I ain't gonna pay no $1000 for a knock-off label that I never even heard of. I'm just lookin for a beat-maker that ain't a hood rat enough to lie about his rates or just bail out for no obvious reason.

I'm lookin' for a beat-maker that charges about $20-25 a beat. Lookin' for someone who can copy a style, but can also be mostly original and creative. Someone who can perform Gothic presence as well as rap metal (Hollywood Undead-style). I'm lookin for someone who can make Reggaeton. Lookin' for someone who can stick around. Lookin' for someone who's down to Earth and can think realistically. Lookin' for someone who can rap too, so that when we get a close relationship, we can rap about how our collaboration is gon take over the world. I'm lookin for someone who isn't a hypocrite and can take critique and possibly redo things when they aren't to my specifics with maturity. I'm lookin' for someone who won't mind breakin' some celebrities' shitty career with a hardcore diss track cause let's keep it real, that's a part of hip-hop and my favorite part, at that. im really dedicated to what i do and i dont do it just for fun . i do it cus its a passion . i get my insperation from many diffrient things .mainly from my own life . i never got to live that child hood life , i was adopted . i've lived a hard life and i never understood why i went threw so much pain when i was young even at the age of 5 .but now looking back i can tell it really was all worth it because noow that im a tenager i realise i am alot more mature then most . i always thought it was because of the fact when i was a child i was suppost to be living the young good life and playful but i didnt . instead i was going threw the pain and the hate that you usually dont start experiencing intil your a teen but it came alot more earlier then me so its like i skipped a level but you know i still go threw the pain and ive been hated alot for no reason but then again ive been liked . yeah ive been told my whole life that i was nothing even by my own parents ive never had there support or never less effort to help. i know im better the what most say and thats what i put into my raps .its aboout motivation and encouragement . i love to go hard on them to but its like i dont even have to think of what to rite . they just come into my mind ..never does it stop .but i dont do it so much for the fun but i do it because i love it , and hip hop/rap isnt just music .to me its more then that its where you can release your self and show that side where people have never seen but yet at the same time you can tell a story ina way where many could relate but yes im a young rapper you know and i will make it .everyday i wake up saying to myself today could be the day . never does my ambition drop . i wanna inspire all . i wanna motivate people let the know to take a stand but yet i want them to enjoy everything and never give up but heres a piece of what ive written out of 29 diffrient raps

im really dedicated to what i do and i dont do it just for fun . i do it cus its a passion . i get my insperation from many diffrient things .mainly from my own life . i never got to live that child hood life , i was adopted . i've lived a hard life and i never understood why i went threw so much pain when i was young even at the age of 5 .but now looking back i can tell it really was all worth it because noow that im a tenager i realise i am alot more mature then most . i always thought it was because of the fact when i was a child i was suppost to be living the young good life and playful but i didnt . instead i was going threw the pain and the hate that you usually dont start experiencing intil your a teen but it came alot more earlier then me so its like i skipped a level but you know i still go threw the pain and ive been hated alot for no reason but then again ive been liked . yeah ive been told my whole life that i was nothing even by my own parents ive never had there support or never less effort to help. i know im better the what most say and thats what i put into my raps .its aboout motivation and encouragement . i love to go hard on them to but its like i dont even have to think of what to rite . they just come into my mind ..never does it stop .but i dont do it so much for the fun but i do it because i love it , and hip hop/rap isnt just music .to me its more then that its where you can release your self and show that side where people have never seen but yet at the same time you can tell a story ina way where many could relate but yes im a young rapper you know and i will make it .everyday i wake up saying to myself today could be the day . never does my ambition drop . i wanna inspire all . i wanna motivate people let the know to take a stand but yet i want them to enjoy everything and never give up but heres a piece of what ive written out of 29 diffrient raps

Harmonica Player/Singer Seeking Original Band/Group for Creativity and Live Gigs
I am 44 years young looking for free-spirited musicians for an original band project. I've been blowing harp on my own for 30+ years, I'm a lead vocalist and I write lyrics. I play solely by ear and feel and I like to improvise and play with others who aren't afraid to jam. Age is of little concern to me. I'm currently based near Bloomington, Indiana and free to travel. This Is Getting Quite Old...
Alright, I gotta be front about this--and this is not me trying to diss anyone or ranting on these posts, but I gotta say--this is getting ridiculous. I'm pretty fed-up about this and have had all that I can take. If you're still reading this because you have the maturity to listen to someone's side about a musical trial/tribulation, then you gonna feel this.
So, I've been on this site as well as a few others (but mainly this site), and I have met many people (beat-makers) that said they could help me, know what I'm lookin' for, have a nicely budgeted price, etc., etc. Now, I like to call that the "Bullshit/Butter-Me Up Stage" because every beat-maker I have EVER had boasts about his skills, but never follow through. I've had 16 different beat-makers either quit on me, or change his 'initial setting' to $200 a beat. Now, when they quit on me, they didn't even so much as say two fuckin' words to let me know, at least. I just never heard from them again. When they charge me to $200 a beat, they don't realize that I'm not rich and that I don't have that kinda budget. Who the fuck are those people trying to fool? How you gon put bait in front of my face and start trickin' with it? That's some mad bullshit. Let alone--check this out--this guy says I got some skill and he might wanna sign me to his record label, but that dumbfuck ACTUALLY EXPECTS ME TO PAY to be signed there. LMFAO!
Nigga, if you run a label and wanna sign me, YOU pay ME. If you need money for promotions and you the one running the label, YOU DEAL WITH IT, not me. That's how it works. And I ain't gonna pay no $1000 for a knock-off label that I never even heard of. I'm just lookin for a beat-maker that ain't a hood rat enough to lie about his rates or just bail out for no obvious reason.
16 motherfuckin' beat-makers. You see how this is getting old? I don't do anything wrong. They're the ones fleein'. It's fuckin' ridiculous. Picture yourself in my position with that on your shoulders.

I'm lookin' for a beat-maker that charges about $20-25 a beat. Lookin' for someone who can copy a style, but can also be mostly original and creative. Someone who can perform Gothic presence as well as rap metal (Hollywood Undead-style). I'm lookin for someone who can make Reggaeton. Lookin' for someone who can stick around. Lookin' for someone who's down to Earth and can think realistically. Lookin' for someone who can rap too, so that when we get a close relationship, we can rap about how our collaboration is gon take over the world. I'm lookin for someone who isn't a hypocrite and can take critique and possibly redo things when they aren't to my specifics with maturity. I'm lookin' for someone who won't mind breakin' some celebrities' shitty career with a hardcore diss track cause let's keep it real, that's a part of hip-hop and my favorite part, at that. I'm lookin' for someone hood.

He's toured the U.S., working with the premier Beatles tribute bands, "Band On The Run" and "Penny Lane" , East Coast premiere show bands Savannah and Liberation and also with Police Academy's man of 10,000 sound FX celebrity, Michael Winslow
He's worked as writer/producer on numerous corporate audio/video projects for a number of years, working for Master Traxx Productions, with credits too numerous to mention.
Recently, Tab completed work as the co-writer/producer on the album "It's Just A Nam Thing", working with Veterans to produce an album worthy of their story. It has been universally greeted with acclaim.

I am looking to form a multi-cultural, free form, acid - funk, jazz – rock, country/bluegrass improvisational collective. I am looking for musicians who are open to all types of music and all types of influences.
To my mind, the two coolest people in twentieth century music are Miles Davis and Johnny Cash. This should give you some idea of my range of influences.
I am going to list some of my primary influences, and some of the musicians who are, to me, par excellence on their instruments.
The lists that follow are arranged in no particular order, except that the first names are generally my favorite performers for that particular instrument. After the musician’s list, I list some essential albums.
Drummers: Tony Williams, Bill Bruford, John Bonham, Art Blakey, Jack DeJohnette, Max Roach, Al Foster, Elvin Jones, Eliot Zigmund, Bill Ward.

One image I have is for the band members to each contribute $50 – 100; we go out and collectively by a keyboard rig which would be available for anyone to play at anytime, depending on their mood.
I have to give some thought to vocalists, but I am interested in people who not only can deliver words, but can treat the voice as another instrument in the ensemble.

Burnt Sugar: A new ensemble led by writer Greg Tate whose music is a combination of "Miles, Ornette, and P-Funk. "

Funcadelic: Anything, but especially Maggot Brain
Ornette Coleman: again, anything, but especially his music with Prime Time. I enjoy In All Languages since it contains music by both his acoustic quartet and Prime Time.
King Crimson: Discipline, The ConstruKCtion of Light, The Power to Believe
The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, et al: Will the Circle Be Unbroken: vols. 1 – 3, esp vol. 2
Almost anything by Johnny Cash
Willie Nelson: again, almost anything, but especially Stardust.
Favorite composers/arrangers: Bach, Beethoven, DeBussy, Moussorgsky, Stravinsky, Ellington, Monk, Mingus, Gil Evans.
If you look at the above lists, you see that I have a wide variety of influences. Yet to my mind, there are only two types of music. What are they? Hint: Duke Ellington used the same definition.
I live in Metuchen, and do not drive much, so locations on the train lines are most convenient.

Hi there I'm Sheldon. I play bass in an Instrumental Progressive Rock/ Jazz improve fusion trio called The Black Hands. We are a Bassist, Drummer and Keyboard player. Here are some answers to questions that other people have been asking.
1. We are 22 and 23. 2. Our bands goals is to gig as much as we can, make money without selling out, Tour and make more albums. Then repeat the process as much as we can before we get old. 3. We don't have a link to our music because we don't want to make it public until we have our new drummer. 4. We are experienced enough to manage ourselvs for now. But when the situation and time calls for it, we will get one. It's no problem. 5. I've played for such bands as En Vouge, The Big Dune ( Jenner Bros), Done session work for producers like David Foster, Hanz Zimmer and other various artists. I been a session player since I was 17 until I was 22. I quit all that to make my own original music. There's more money in that than playing for someone eleses music and getting paid union wages. 6. We are also offering who ever is the new drummer a 1/3 of the righting and recording rights, 1/3 of the royalties, 1/3 ownership of the band name and a 1/3 of any money that is made from the band. (ex:album sales, merch, ticket sales,etc. ). We want a band member, not a session player. The only thing that has been holding us back is a new drummer. Other than that, we are ready to go.

The reason is because your listeners will notice more of what is in your band's music than what is NOt. In it. For instance, let's say your guitarist is NOT real creative. He may play well enough to keep up with the pace of the song, but as far as adding anything flashy, he's just not able at his current skill level. But there you are, with your solid sense of rhythm and timing. That's what people are going to notice! They simply will notice something that the guitarist does NOT do. people who are not musically inclined just want to be moved by the music. They do not evaluate it like musicans do. Now, if the guitarist seriously flubs something up, then that's a different story all together. NOT being creative and not adding to the music is one thing,but making critical mistakes is another. or not,people know what is, or is not,pleasing to the ear. so, as drummer,the anchor of the band, be solid, strong and confident, Continue to practice regularly and never be satisfied with your level of progress. .
