Harmonica Player/Singer Seeking Original Band/Group for Creativity and Live Gigs
I am 44 years young looking for free-spirited musicians for an original band project. I've been blowing harp on my own for 30+ years, I'm a lead vocalist and I write lyrics. I play solely by ear and feel and I like to improvise and play with others who aren't afraid to jam. Age is of little concern to me. I'm currently based near Bloomington, Indiana and free to travel. I don't have a lot of equipment but it's ample for practice and smaller rooms. I have a decent (though beat up) vocal mic w/stand/cord, a harmonica mic and a small Peavey 5-channel PA. We are diligently looking for a pianist/musician/organist to assist us in enhancing the worship experience at our church and also providing more opportunities for those with musical talents to improve their skills. We understand that music is a door to the soul of the individual. This individual must be able to read music and have knowledge of piano and or organ and also will start off playing for our youth choir and maybe if interested in playing for the congregation’s adult choir. Excellent base pay. Our church is Johnson Tabernacle CME Church and we are located at 404 Garland St Greenfield, TN 38230.

Boston based composer is looking to record his project "Starlight Symphony"'s debut album "The Christmas Chance" and needs a few live musicians to aide the process.
The album features a mix of original driving rock songs, technical and powerful arrangements of Holiday and Classical standards. A true array of styles and expressions fill this project and it promises to be quite a hit once released.
Influences include: Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Savatage, Van Helsing's Curse, Manheim Steamroller, Beethoven, Mozart, Chopin, Michael Kamen, Tuomas Holopanien, Danny Elfman.

To my mind, the two coolest people in twentieth century music are Miles Davis and Johnny Cash. This should give you some idea of my range of influences.
I am going to list some of my primary influences, and some of the musicians who are, to me, par excellence on their instruments.

I have to give some thought to vocalists, but I am interested in people who not only can deliver words, but can treat the voice as another instrument in the ensemble.

I am looking for anyone who could produce my work . I have 4 1/2 years experience in audio software general knowledge, audio sampling with software ,editing (enhancing) samples, I have minor experience with Csound (musical programming language), I have many tracks in construction (in upwards of over 325 + incomplete tracks) and completing 2 - 3 tracks almost daily ,. . . so . . . Here are some answers to questions that other people have been asking.
1. We are 22 and 23. 2. Our bands goals is to gig as much as we can, make money without selling out, Tour and make more albums. Then repeat the process as much as we can before we get old. 3. We don't have a link to our music because we don't want to make it public until we have our new drummer. 4. We are experienced enough to manage ourselvs for now. But when the situation and time calls for it, we will get one. It's no problem. 5. I've played for such bands as En Vouge, The Big Dune ( Jenner Bros), Done session work for producers like David Foster, Hanz Zimmer and other various artists. I been a session player since I was 17 until I was 22. I quit all that to make my own original music. There's more money in that than playing for someone eleses music and getting paid union wages. 6. We are also offering who ever is the new drummer a 1/3 of the righting and recording rights, 1/3 of the royalties, 1/3 ownership of the band name and a 1/3 of any money that is made from the band. (ex:album sales, merch, ticket sales,etc. ). We want a band member, not a session player. The only thing that has been holding us back is a new drummer. Other than that, we are ready to go.
