Hey! I'm gonna start by introducing myself. My name is Ingrid. I am a 16 year old senior in high school (located in Clermont, Florida) who is looking to start or join a pop/punk rock band. I've been singing since I was about 13 years old but never really got serious about music and my vocals since my sophomore year of high school. I would say that my voice would fit best in the pop/punk category of rock music. I am also a song writer. I wrote my first song at just 15 years old and since then i've written up to 81 songs. My songs are based on mainly my life, but also real life teen experiences, relationships, my thoughts on certain situations/life in general, and just overall my feelings. I've never been in a band or started up a band at all yet, but I know this is just the beginning to a true life journey that i'm stoked to take. I prefer a band with just 3 guys between the ages of 15-18 years old, but i'm open to any females in that age range who have experience with playing the guitar and drums. I just wanna let you know that I'm really focused on singing and writing and if I were in a band then I would be fully committed to my band. We would be able to be original since I write my own lyrics, and I would be a truly honest leader that you'd know would get us far. I'm basically in this forreal. To me, music isn't just my hobby, it's my life. It's one thing I know I'm good at and I actually fit in. We are searching for a professional[gear/transportation/dedication/ability/reliability/originality]drummer/percussionist to complete our lineup, and get us back out performing. We need someone who can commit to practice at least once a week[Sunday 6-9] at our practice space in East Vancouver[Mill Plain + 164th area]. We are a two singer/songwriter team that would like to get back into writing as a group, jamming, and possibly exploring sound[s]. Anything unique that sets you apart from EVERYONE ELSE is a big plus for us!

We have recorded one full length album, two EPs, and have some live recordings as well. You are not expected to copy the drum parts that are recorded, we would like for you to be creative, but we will be performing some of the previously recorded material, as well as writing new material. We are looking to get into a studio ASAP to record some of our latest material.

If you`re a skilled, schooled, rocking drummer, and you`re sick of the standards in metal these days, this might be for you.

I`m a guitarist/singer/songwiter. I`ve been playing for about 8 years. I`ve got a million ideas, just need someone to help me bring them out.

What I`m ultimately looking to do is assemble sort of a metal orchestra. Drums, bass, me, MAYBE a 2nd guitarist if the need arises, and 2 violinists, maybe a cellist. To actually be part of the band. No `rent-a-symphony` heard on all these radio singles that want to try to sound epic.

Eventually, I`d like to include all kinds of instrumentation, just for a little spice, (NOT to change the style) while always keeping it heavy.

I`m not looking to do anything like Yellowcard, or sound like Evanesence.

Think Korn, 36 Crazyfists, Enya, The Cleveland Symphony Orchestra, Rise Against, and everything in between all mashed together. I write coherent, intelligent, dark, mood enducing stuff. If you`re looking to blast beat for 10 minutes in drop-f*** Z, this is not for you.

I can sing pretty well, and scream. I just need to strenghthen my vocal cords up a little so that I can sing for longer, but my talent is definately there. So if you`re willing to work with me on that, all the better. I write introspective, deep, sometimes personal lyrics. It depends on what mood I`m in. Maybe I`ll write about Roman Mythology. Who knows.

I`m not focused on playing out right away. First and foremost, I want to write a handful of songs, and then practice until we cauterize our muscles. A great live show is always proportional to how tight, prepared and rehearsed the band is.

So, without getting too much into detail, I`m located near Downtown Minneapolis. Don`t have a practice space, as our house is already being used for that. I have an Ibanez 6 and a 7, Mesa Boogie dual rec half stack. Some effects.

I`m looking to practice maybe 2 days a week, then more if things start going REALLY well. Email

In the past, we have always gotten a great reception, reviews, and lots of gigs and buzz and I want to maintain that tradition. In addition to being musically talented, ideally you will be reliable and committed and interested in helping to promote the band as well.

• Has a flexible schedule. Practice days usually vary, so we can probably work out something.
• We need someone who learns quickly, is creative and open-minded to ideas, committed, dedicated, hard working, able to pay for some expenses when necessary, plays double bass, and of course has TALENT!
• Good connections around the scene would be a plus too.
