Have you ever recorded a song and felt it lacked something in the low end? Did your home recording project sound cheesy because you used the “electric bass” patch on your keyboard instead of using the real thing?
Wesley is offering bass tracking services to anyone who is in need of a fitting bass line for a recording. Combing his audio engineering experience with his musical talent, he will create a clean, distortion-free bass track fitting for your song. All files will be transmitted over the internet, so it does not matter if you live in Memphis, Los Angeles, London, or Tokyo.
Who can benefit from this?
-Singer-songwriters who would like to thicken up a recording with a bass track
-Electronic musician who need a more convincing element of
human touch in a bass line
-A full band in the process of recording an album, who for one reason or another is missing a bass player
-Anyone who wants to save a little money by only paying for a studio musician, instead of paying for BOTH the musician and studio time
-Anyone wanting a bass track from a well rounded musician who was raised in the United States but has a global musical sensibility
What are the sound/tonal options?
Wesley can record your bass line on:
-Electric bass (plucked, picked, or slapped, with active or passive electronics, round wound or flat wound strings, depending on whether you need a vintage or modern sound)
-Upright/String/Double bass (Arco or Pizzicato... Bowed or plucked)
-Electric Upright Bass
-Fretless Bass
-Acoustic Bass Guitar
-Additionally, you will be provided with multiple tracks for a recording if desired, such as a microphone and pickup for an upright bass recording, or a direct line and miked amp for an electric bass.
Who will come up with the bass line?
Wesley will accommodate your needs, whatever they might be. If you already have a bass line written, it will be recorded note for note. Just send the sheet music or an audio version (played on piano, keyboard, guitar, tuba, flute, or whatever else).
If you do not have a bass line in mind, Wesley will come up with something fitting for the song. Send a lead sheet if you have one, but it is not necessary.
How much does it cost?
$100 for the first song, $75 for each additional song in a project. This includes one “redo” per song. If you do not like the first track that is submitted to you, it will be re-tracked once at no additional charge.
A project in this case is based on how the number songs submitted in an inquiry.
What if the bass track is not up to par?
Simple enough. You do not pay for it. Here’s how it works. You submit an audio file of your song , and Wesley will record the bass line. He will send a stereo audio file of your song back to you with the bass track included. The bass track will be a little loud in the mix with the dual purposes of allowing you to hear what it sounds like before purchasing, but also protecting Wesley from non-payment, as the track will be un-useable in a final mix. Once the bass line is approved, you will submit your payment, and a high quality version of the bass track will be sent out. If you requested separate tracks for one bass line (direct and miked, for example), they can be sent separately, or mixed.

Fresh from it's 3rd place finish in the American Legion National Band Competition, in Louisville, Kentucky, the Waltham American Legion Band is seeking new musicians. Openings exist in all sections. Membership in the American Legion is not required.
The Waltham American Legion Band is well known throughout Greater Boston and New England, founded by Dot Slamin Hill in 1948. The band has traveled to Great Britain, Ireland and the former Soviet Union as well as stateside trips to Hawaii, California, New Orleans, Reno, Salt Lake City and Louisville. The band pays travel expenses and uniforms are supplied. Need an instrument? We will help!
Of the 70 band members, our musical abilities range from college graduates with music degrees to those who played in military bands or at the high school or college level.

Major has captivated audiences in the surrounding Columbus Area with his local television show, Jam with Major. This prompted Major to open up a music store, where he taught drum lessons and sold musical instruments. He is still recognized for his talent that was displayed on his show. He exhibted his riveing, natural ability to perform before an audience of cameras and viewers. He is well known for his drum talents. Major tries very hard to display his affection for music through the instruments that he plays. He plays all of the instruments on all of his songs on his earlier cd's. He now uses a combination of instruments and machines on his latest compositions. He composes R & B, along with Hip Hop and funk. He also writes the lyrics, does the editing and much more. Major has played with numerous bands throughout his career, including the former horn player for Rick James. Major has visited and met with individuals in the industry, such as Bert Padell, Dino Devalle (Senior VP of Urban Music at Sony Records) and Fred Munao (President of Select Records).

A drummer who is off beat, or off tempo, will lead the entire band astray. Therefor, if the drummer is weak the band will be weak. Since the drummer provides the foundation for the other musicians to follow, the drumme is the anchor of the band. Being the anchor of the band,the drummer must have confidence. Confidence is what makes a good drummer a great drummer. When you have confidence in your ability to play and confidence in your instrument, success for the band is much more likely to occur. if you are a drummer in a band, then you are the anchor of the band. The other musicians are relying heavily on you to provide a strong beat that will keep everything. together. Other musicians may be able to cover their flaws when playing their instruments as a group, but not you. Everything you do behind your set will not only be heard, but felt. There is simply no way to hide or cover up poor drumming skills! The drummer is vital to a band, and a great drummer can make up somewhat for other musicians who may not be at the same level of expertise. The reason is because your listeners will notice more of what is in your band's music than what is NOt. In it. For instance, let's say your guitarist is NOT real creative. He may play well enough to keep up with the pace of the song, but as far as adding anything flashy, he's just not able at his current skill level. But there you are, with your solid sense of rhythm and timing. That's what people are going to notice! They simply will notice something that the guitarist does NOT do. people who are not musically inclined just want to be moved by the music. They do not evaluate it like musicans do. Now, if the guitarist seriously flubs something up, then that's a different story all together. NOT being creative and not adding to the music is one thing,but making critical mistakes is another. or not,people know what is, or is not,pleasing to the ear. so, as drummer,the anchor of the band, be solid, strong and confident, Continue to practice regularly and never be satisfied with your level of progress. .
