Have you ever recorded a song and felt it lacked something in the low end? Did your home recording project sound cheesy because you used the “electric bass” patch on your keyboard instead of using the real thing?
Wesley is offering bass tracking services to anyone who is in need of a fitting bass line for a recording. Combing his audio engineering experience with his musical talent, he will create a clean, distortion-free bass track fitting for your song. All files will be transmitted over the internet, so it does not matter if you live in Memphis, Los Angeles, London, or Tokyo.
Who can benefit from this?
-Singer-songwriters who would like to thicken up a recording with a bass track
-Electronic musician who need a more convincing element of
human touch in a bass line
-A full band in the process of recording an album, who for one reason or another is missing a bass player
-Anyone who wants to save a little money by only paying for a studio musician, instead of paying for BOTH the musician and studio time
-Anyone wanting a bass track from a well rounded musician who was raised in the United States but has a global musical sensibility
What are the sound/tonal options?
Wesley can record your bass line on:
-Electric bass (plucked, picked, or slapped, with active or passive electronics, round wound or flat wound strings, depending on whether you need a vintage or modern sound)
-Upright/String/Double bass (Arco or Pizzicato... Bowed or plucked)
-Electric Upright Bass
-Fretless Bass
-Acoustic Bass Guitar
-Additionally, you will be provided with multiple tracks for a recording if desired, such as a microphone and pickup for an upright bass recording, or a direct line and miked amp for an electric bass.
Who will come up with the bass line?
Wesley will accommodate your needs, whatever they might be. If you already have a bass line written, it will be recorded note for note. Just send the sheet music or an audio version (played on piano, keyboard, guitar, tuba, flute, or whatever else).
If you do not have a bass line in mind, Wesley will come up with something fitting for the song. Send a lead sheet if you have one, but it is not necessary.
How much does it cost?
$100 for the first song, $75 for each additional song in a project. This includes one “redo” per song. If you do not like the first track that is submitted to you, it will be re-tracked once at no additional charge.
A project in this case is based on how the number songs submitted in an inquiry.
What if the bass track is not up to par?
Simple enough. You do not pay for it. Here’s how it works. You submit an audio file of your song , and Wesley will record the bass line. He will send a stereo audio file of your song back to you with the bass track included. The bass track will be a little loud in the mix with the dual purposes of allowing you to hear what it sounds like before purchasing, but also protecting Wesley from non-payment, as the track will be un-useable in a final mix. Once the bass line is approved, you will submit your payment, and a high quality version of the bass track will be sent out. If you requested separate tracks for one bass line (direct and miked, for example), they can be sent separately, or mixed.

im really dedicated to what i do and i dont do it just for fun . i do it cus its a passion . i get my insperation from many diffrient things .mainly from my own life . i never got to live that child hood life , i was adopted . i've lived a hard life and i never understood why i went threw so much pain when i was young even at the age of 5 .but now looking back i can tell it really was all worth it because noow that im a tenager i realise i am alot more mature then most . i always thought it was because of the fact when i was a child i was suppost to be living the young good life and playful but i didnt . instead i was going threw the pain and the hate that you usually dont start experiencing intil your a teen but it came alot more earlier then me so its like i skipped a level but you know i still go threw the pain and ive been hated alot for no reason but then again ive been liked . yeah ive been told my whole life that i was nothing even by my own parents ive never had there support or never less effort to help. i know im better the what most say and thats what i put into my raps .its aboout motivation and encouragement . i love to go hard on them to but its like i dont even have to think of what to rite . they just come into my mind ..never does it stop .but i dont do it so much for the fun but i do it because i love it , and hip hop/rap isnt just music .to me its more then that its where you can release your self and show that side where people have never seen but yet at the same time you can tell a story ina way where many could relate but yes im a young rapper you know and i will make it .everyday i wake up saying to myself today could be the day . never does my ambition drop . i wanna inspire all . i wanna motivate people let the know to take a stand but yet i want them to enjoy everything and never give up but heres a piece of what ive written out of 29 diffrient raps

im really dedicated to what i do and i dont do it just for fun . i do it cus its a passion . i get my insperation from many diffrient things .mainly from my own life . i never got to live that child hood life , i was adopted . i've lived a hard life and i never understood why i went threw so much pain when i was young even at the age of 5 .but now looking back i can tell it really was all worth it because noow that im a tenager i realise i am alot more mature then most . i always thought it was because of the fact when i was a child i was suppost to be living the young good life and playful but i didnt . instead i was going threw the pain and the hate that you usually dont start experiencing intil your a teen but it came alot more earlier then me so its like i skipped a level but you know i still go threw the pain and ive been hated alot for no reason but then again ive been liked . yeah ive been told my whole life that i was nothing even by my own parents ive never had there support or never less effort to help. i know im better the what most say and thats what i put into my raps .its aboout motivation and encouragement . i love to go hard on them to but its like i dont even have to think of what to rite . they just come into my mind ..never does it stop .but i dont do it so much for the fun but i do it because i love it , and hip hop/rap isnt just music .to me its more then that its where you can release your self and show that side where people have never seen but yet at the same time you can tell a story ina way where many could relate but yes im a young rapper you know and i will make it .everyday i wake up saying to myself today could be the day . never does my ambition drop . i wanna inspire all . i wanna motivate people let the know to take a stand but yet i want them to enjoy everything and never give up but heres a piece of what ive written out of 29 diffrient raps

Influences include Burt Bacharach, Curtis Mayfield, Bjork, Garbage, and Aerosmith, whose work will have equal input on our sound, along with people like U2, The Beach Boys, Portishead, David Bowie, both Elvis-es (Costello & Presley), Prince, the Beatles, everyone on the Motown label, and other "strange" pop artists whose work expands the definition of pop music, I. E. , not formulaic pop singers like Spears, Lavigne, etc.

Subject: Touring Dave Matthews Tribute Band seeks full-time violinist
Body: The Dave Matthews Tribute Band, based in Nashville/Chattanooga, TN seeks a full-time male violinist for mainly Thursday-Friday-Saturday gigs out of town.
The band generally departs on Thursday mornings and returns Sunday afternoons for weekend travel. The band plays just about every weekend. Travel is by conversion van and trailer. Pay averages $400 per weekend or $125-150 per gig. Many perks involved as well.
The DMTB is looking for a male violinist with pro gear and good attitude for a tribute band setting. Very little creative input. Basically looking for someone to copy-cat the violinist from Dave Matthews Band with both sound (gear, style, parts) and looks (stage energy, wardrobe,

MusiCares, (the charitable foundation of The Recording Academy), in conjunction with the Boston Musicians' Union, is sponsoring a FREE DENTAL SCREENING for MUSICIANS and other music professionals, at the Union's offices in Belmont on Nov. 16th, from 9 am to 5 pm. Participants NEED NOT be Union members, but need to have minimum 5 years' professional experience in the music business, be of limited financial means, and lack dental coverage.
